Pearla Pilates is a provider of Pilates instruction programmes for groups and individuals. 

Pearla Pilates holds personal and sensitive information in relation to Pilates programmes and relevant client medical and health conditions.

Pearla Pilates is committed to protecting your privacy and this notice explains how the information collected is processed and protected.

GDPR, the EU General Data Protection Regulations 2018 sets out how organisations can use and store your data as well as store it, including personally identifiable and personal information.

The information Pearla Pilates keeps

Information gathered is strictly for the purposes of answering enquiries, managing bookings, tailoring programmes to needs and ensuring medical approval to participate where necessary. 

The information provided via the Pearla Pilates website, cookies, social media, participation questionnaires, medical authorisations, sessions and programmes is stored securely. 

Please note Pearla Pilates does not store your debit or credit card details. 

How your data is stored and protected

Your data is stored safely in encrypted files only accessible by Pearla Pilates and will be stored for a maximum of 8 years or for as long as you are a client, whichever is longer. 

How your information is used

The information collected helps Pearla Pilates book and manage classes and 1:1 sessions, assess your ability and needs and determine how to best tailor programmes to your goals.

It may be necessary from time to time to email you about services and your programmes, but Pearla Pilates will only send you marketing information if you sign up to this, and your details will not be shared with third parties. 

Pearla Pilates and your data rights

You can ask any time:

• For a copy of or access to any of the personal information stored about you
• Ask for anything not right to be changed
• Ask for your data to be deleted, although sometimes for legal reasons this may not be possible
• Ask how your data is being used or stored
• Opt out of marketing communications

If you want to complain then please email Pearla Pilates at hello@pearlapilates.com. Pearla Pilates will try to fix any problems but if you are still not happy you can contact the ICO directly.
